Bob Kroeger shows a series of four shots showing the effects of aiming at the mid-line or the mid-angle.
Bob says:
A video I did in 2008 following the discussion of mid line vs mid angle approach to aiming splits.
This video has four shots:
1) 70 degree 1/3 roll aiming mid angle
2) then aiming mid line at the peg
3) 70 degree stop shot aiming mid angle
4) then aiming mid lineThere is a barely visible flag stick in front of me showing the mid angle point and the peg is exactly between the two flags.
The focus wasn’t so much on shot selection here. I wanted the viewer to compare the two aiming methods. I placed the SB/CB edges even with the string allowing the pull to be noticeable for the CB rather than allow for pull and adjusting the balls accordingly for the CB to go directly to the flag.
